It's been a while since our last eNews went out.
In the past we have tried to gather as much local news as possible as possible and include it one big eNewsletter. The idea being to limit the number of emails you receive. The problem with this approach, is that often times the news gets old or scheduling gets delayed or canceled all together.
So ... we're going to try a new approach beginning with this new year.
Your Palestine eNews may be a little smaller and come to your email boxes a little more often. The content may change a little too.
As always, we look forward to your comments.
VERIZON CELL TOWER UPDATE
Sunday hours for the Saratoga Tavern were also approved along the same guidelines as those for Llama's Pizza, Belle Vista Wine & Beer Bar, and package sales at Casey's. Liquor sales are allowed from 12:00 to 6:00 pm on Sundays.
Your wait for reliable Verizon-Wireless service in the Palestine area may be almost over. Unofficially, the delay in bringing the new tower on-line has been due to a backlog in the production of the control centers for each new location. Completion of the local tower is said to be scheduled for this month. Keep your fingers crossed, but you may not want to hold your breath - just yet!
